We were provided with the raw image of Tom above. The brief was to put him in a room, with a view out of a window behind him showing a church being stuck by lightning…

Combining images of a quaint village church and some lightning, then adding a bit of a smokey effect, we created the view out of the window.

Next was the room. After finding a suitable stock image, we cut out the windows and pasted it over the church image.

Next, we took the original image of Tom and added a wedding magazine. We also made the flames on the candles a bit bigger.

Finally we put all the elements together, and added the copy.

Tom Stade’s tour required a flyer that was ‘cool, edgy and classy’. The combination of Pacifico and Sluicebox on a white background gave a strong but legible look.
